As the New York City cycling community prepares for the upcoming Dave Jordan Central Park Classic, the Century Road Club Development Foundation ("CRCDF") is pleased to announce the creation of the Dave Jordan Grant Program ("DJGP"). In coordination with the Jordan family the DJGP is being established to help develop the next generation of New York City cyclists by supporting their competition in regional and national level cycling events. Grants will be available to junior cyclists including riders who guest ride for and receive support from the CRCDF Team at selected events. David Greenberg and I were both close to Dave during his racing career and tenure as CRCA President and we're pleased to have this opportunity to work with the Jordan family in honoring his legacy and supporting the continued growth of youth cycling in New York City.
